ROVER MANIFEST

The rover will be equipped with two high-resolution cameras, a microscopic camera to capture small details, and a thermal imaging camera. It will also carry a Langmuir probe, designed to study the Moon's plasma.

MISSION PLAN

The first mission will perform a soft landing on the Moon. This will be the first privately-led Japanese mission to land on the lunar surface. Rashid lunar rover is sent by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC).

MISSION DURATION

Flight duration is Maximum 4 months & The duration of nominal surface operations is 12 sunlit days
